I provide expert healthcare financial consultancy, sometimes independently and sometimes partnering a larger consultancy who may be within a framework agreement.
I’ve been doing this now since 2007 following over 15 years in substantive NHS employment working up the finance ladder (fully qualified in 1996).
I try to work in a niche area that is less uncommon in consultancy and also uncommon in substantive roles, which is good for me and good for clients. I try to offer great value coupled with strong experience and an unmatched skillset in my field. I have many repeat clients and a 100% satisfaction rate for projects. Details are on my CV / history.
What do I do? Imagine cutting edge granular (often patient level) financial modelling and analytics, linking to strategy and giving both high level and detailed recommendations. Costing, commissioning, elective recovery, financial management, productivity, efficiency, dashboard analytics etc.
I believe strongly that financial consultancy in public healthcare needs to generate a clear, tangible value added benefit to the taxpayer. I’ll always try to advise how clients can ensure that happens.
